Muhammad Faisal Pratama
Research Assistant
Faisal is a food and nutrition researcher with over six years of experience studying the role of forests and wild foods in supporting dietary intake among rural populations in Africa and Southeast Asia.
He holds a BSc in Nutrition from IPB University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Cornell University with a concentration in Food Systems. His research interests span the nexus of food, health, social equity, and climate, with a particular focus on how these interconnections shape outcomes for vulnerable groups, including children and women.
With strong expertise in data analysis and biostatistics, he brings a rigorous, evidence-based approach to exploring food systems and public health. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and watching films.
